Melissa Waldrop

My grandfather, Barney Waldrop, started Miller Waldrop in the 1950’s in the small town of Lovington, NM. Dusting furniture, polishing glass, and hanging wallpaper were the childhood tasks that launched me into a successful Home Furnishings career in merchandising and interior design.

In 2009 I changed career paths and went back to school to become an Educator. I currently hold a Master’s Degree in Education and work as an online Educator for Middle School.

Throughout my teaching career I continued decorating interiors, painting and hanging wallpaper.
In 2024 inspired by my consistent love of Homes and design I pursued a Real Estate Career.

I love our community in Lincoln County. Our home in these mountains is truly a gem in New Mexico!
